Grand Prix de Plouay lorient agglo TROPHEE WNT

Lotto - Soudal is outsider


Leading squad of the women's peloton, Lotto - Soudal will be at the rendez-vousof the Grand Prix of Plouay - Lorient - Trophy WNT Women with a team seeking experience on the biggest race in Brittany. The Belgian team will not be favorite but can count on a group arriving without pressure.

12th in the WorldTour team standings, Lotto - Soudal will be in Plouay without his prolific sprinter, Lotte Kopecky, but with a solid collective led by Julie Van de Velde. Founded in 2006, the Belgian team is one of the oldest in the women's squad. The roads of Plouay have no secret for this team used to ride in Brittany.

All of the competitors announced by Lotto - Soudal only have three participations in Plouay. This team will be there to learn a race that always allows favorites to escape.

We will find in the belgiancollective Cameron Vandenbroucke, the daughter of Frank. His father, winner in 1996 at just 21, has left a great memory to the plouaysian public. The day of his victory, he won in front of 300,000 spectators!

Lotto –Soudal has presented its first list of riders scheduled at Plouay.

161. Julie Van de Velde (Bel, 26). This will be the first participation in Plouay for the Belgian who will be the leader of her team. 7th in Plumelec in the spring, but also 14th in the Flèche Wallonne and 15th in Liège-Bastogne-Liège, she will find Plouay a circuit that should please her.
