08/8/2019

A team for the future

To host the World Cycling Center team is in line with the ideas defended by the Grand Prix Plouay - Lorient Agglo - Trophy WNT Women : promote women's cycling and allow emerging countries to succeed in a sport with a bright future. What better project can we have for tomorrow's cycling?

The women's team of the World Cycling Center is at home in Brittany. This season, the UCI riders have already shown the extent of their talent during the Morbihan Classic, the Plumelec Grand Prix and the Tour de Belle Isle en Terre - KreizBreizh. The most international of teams is not lacking in popularity with its smiling champions from all over the worldwho come to progress in their sport.

After already received the commitment of teams from Brazil and Thailand, the Grand Prix of Plouay will receive champions from Switzerland, Ireland, Belarus, Trinidad and Tobago, Paraguay and Ethiopia. Since 2002, the Plouay event will have welcomed cycling champions from 51 different countries ! And that's only the beginning…

Make no mistake, these young women of the World Cycling Center are also the champions of tomorrow. Most are already expected at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, before those of Paris in 2024.
